On Friday and Saturday of this week I was manning the INCERTS stand at the TLS show, GMex in Manchester. It gave me a great opportunity to show this groundbreaking assessment recording and pupil tracking software to lots of teachers, most of whom gave very positive feedback. More exciting, however was the kerfuffle at the beginning of the show when Children's Minister, Beverly Highes was handcuffed to a Father's 4 Justice protester! While I can't claim to be be Mrs Hughes' greatest fan, she seemed to remain unruffled throughout the incident.
Here's the TES report.
Bookings for the INCERTS and ICT Mark seminar on 24th May at Saffron's are proving popular, so if you'd like to join Ian Billups (MD of INCERTS) and I for a free curry plus some stimulating discussion on assessment recording and the ICTMark, please email your intention to me asap.
I am happy to report that while at the GMex show, Ian and I felt duty-bound to check on the quality of the curry provided by Saffron's and am pleased to confirm that it is top drawer!
